This is the Internet version of the user's guide. © Print only for private use. On-screen keyboard When you need to edit text, tap the keyboard icon in the status bar and then select characters. Tap Done when ready. Tap the arrows or rotate the Jog Dial to change the input field. The keyboard top bar also contains a drop-down menu with Cut, Copy and Paste. When copying or cutting, the text must be selected first. Handwriting recognition Handwriting recognition translates stylus gestures into letters, digits or other characters, and displays these characters as text. Phone (h) The text mode screen is split into an upper and a lower part, by an arrow in the middle of the right edge. Mark text by putting the stylus on the text, wait a moment, and drag the stylus over the text. Note Most letters can be written using different stroke styles. See the tables below.
