Bluetooth® wireless technology Bluetooth makes it possible to connect wirelessly to other Bluetooth devices. You can: • connect to several devices at the same time. • synchronize information with other devices. • use the remote control functionality. • use a remote screen. • exchange items and play multiplayer games. We recommend a range within 10 metres, with no solid objects in between, for Bluetooth communication. Before you start Learn more about Bluetooth and how to use it by visiting www.SonyEricsson.com/support. • Turn on Bluetooth to communicate with other devices. • Pair the Bluetooth devices with your phone that you want to communicate with. Please check if local laws or regulations restrict the use of Bluetooth. If Bluetooth is not allowed, you must ensure that the Bluetooth function is turned off. The maximum allowed Bluetooth radio output power in the phone is automatically adjusted according to possible local restrictions. This means that the range may vary. To turn Bluetooth on } Settings } the Connectivity tab } Bluetooth } Turn on. Adding devices to your phone Enter a passcode to set up a secure link between your phone and the device. Enter the same passcode on the device when prompted. Devices with no user interface, such as a handsfree, will have a pre-defined passcode. Consult the device user guide for more information.
