Preparations for Using the Networking Function You can connect this device to the network with a LAN cable (10BASE-T/100BASETX). This section describes the tasks required for using the networking function of this device. Installing this device Before installation • Before installation, make sure that the power to all the equipment is off. To turn the display completely off, press the 1 switch so that the display changes to standby mode, then disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet. • When you install this device, make sure that the flat panel display is locked and stable. Follow the steps below to install this device to the FWD series Flat Panel Display. 1 Remove the installed option adaptor or the panel cover. (Refer to either of the following illustrations that applies to your Display unit.)
