Quick Start Guide Recording a picture (p. 18) 1 Remove the lens cap. 2 Set the POWER switch to CAMERA while pressing the small green button. OFF (CHARGE) VCR POWER CAMERA 3 Open the LCD panel while pressing OPEN. The picture appears on the LCD screen. 4 Press the red button. Your camcorder starts recording. To stop recording, press the red button again. CAMERA OFF (CHARGE) VCR POWER Viewfinder When the LCD panel is closed, use the viewfinder placing your eye against its eyecup. The picture in the viewfinder is black and white. When you purchase your camcorder, the clock setting is set to off.
