Turning off the display (continued) Tips • The @/1 indicator lights up even in Power Saving Mode. • The timer continues to operate in Power Saving Mode. • During Power Saving Mode, the following item do not functions: - Setting the time. - Changing the AM tuning interval. - Pressing a function button to turn the power on. - Switching the function of MD (VIDEO). - Changing "CD POWER" settings (page 15). Using the CD display When a CD TEXT disc is loaded, you can check the information stored on the disc, such as the titles. When the unit detects CD TEXT discs, "CD TEXT" lights up in the display. Checking the remaining time Press DISPLAY repeatedly during playback. Each time you press the button, the display changes cyclically as follows: Playing time of the current track t Remaining time of the current track1) t Remaining time of the current CD2) t Title of the current track3) t Title of the current album (for a few seconds)4) t Clock display (for a few seconds) t Effect status Checking the total playing time Press DISPLAY repeatedly when playback is stopped (except for Program Mode).
