Basic Operations Creating a party atmosphere - X-TRANCE You can create a party atmosphere by using X-TRANCE. To Do this Flash the sound output (The sound cuts off periodically) Hold down SOUND FLASH during playback. To cancel the effect, release SOUND FLASH. Change the sound flash speed (1~20) Hold down SOUND FLASH and turn OPERATION DIAL. Create a deep flanging effect that is similar to the roar of a jet plane Press FLANGER repeatedly to select "FLANGER ON". Create a "live" sound with full characteristic reverb effect Press DELAY repeatedly to select "DELAY ON". Create a slow Press CHORUS and deep chorus repeatedly to select effect "CHORUS ON". Notes • The FLANGER, DELAY or CHORUS sound effect is automatically turned off when you: - turn off the system. - change the function. - select other sound effect. • If you activate FLANGER, DELAY or CHORUS during recording/transferring, the sound effect will be recorded onto the tape or transferred onto the USB device. However, these sound effect will not be transferred onto the USB device during CD function. Changing the display 1 Press OPTIONS. 2 Turn OPERATION DIAL to select the item you want, then press ENTER The last selected item setting appears in the display. ILLUM Change the illumination pattern around MASTER VOLUME. METER BACKLIGHT Change the meter backlight pattern. METER POINTER Change the meter pointer pattern. DISPLAY Change the front panel display pattern. 3 Turn OPERATION DIAL to select the setting you want. 4 Press ENTER. 5 Repeat steps 2 to 4 to make other settings. To exit the OPTIONS menu Press OPTIONS again. 31GB
