Various ways of playback Viewing various information You can check the track name, disc name, etc. during playback. DISPLAY 1 While playing, press DISPLAY. Each time you press DISPLAY, the display changes as follows. Display window on the remote control A B The indications have the following meanings: : Disc name : Track name : Group name : Artist name : Album name Display window A/B A B Track number Track number The number of tracks in the disc Elapsed time • Track name and artist name (Hi-MD) • Track name (MD) Disc name A Track number Track number Track number B • Group name and album name (Hi-MD)1) • Group name and track name (MD)1) Selected sound mode name and its indication • Codec, track mode, and bitrate (Hi-MD) • Track mode (MD) 1) The disc name appears when the currently selected track is not in a group. Note Depending on the group settings, the operating conditions, and the disc settings, you may not be able to select certain indications or the indications may appear differently. z If you want to check the remaining time or the recording position while recording or in stop mode, see "Viewing various information" (page 33).
