Your CLIÉ Handheld does not operate properly The backlight does not turn on when you adjust the brightness level B When you are adjusting the brightness level, the LCD backlight turns on. When brightness is set to the lowest level, the display may be illegible. This is not a malfunction. The LCD cannot be viewed properly B Depending upon the angle of vision, the brightness may be uneven, but this is not a malfunction. Adjust the brightness level by tapping the "Brightness adjustment icon" on the bottom left of the screen. Also, when the backlight is off, you can turn it on by pressing the POWER button for more than two seconds.
