You cannot beam data/ You forget your password The error message is displayed for insufficient memory when you receive data via beaming B For data receiving via beaming, the free space of your CLIÉ handheld memory must be more than twice the size of data to be received. When the memory is insufficient, delete any unnecessary data. You forget the password and your CLIÉ handheld is not locked B You can use Security to delete the password, but your CLIÉ handheld deletes all records marked as private. To back up all the data including private records, perform a HotSync® operation before you delete the password. Then to restore your private records saved in your computer, perform a HotSync® operation to backup the data of your CLIÉ handheld onto the computer and then follow these steps. 1 Tap Password in the Security screen. The Password dialog box is displayed. In this dialog box, tap Lost Password to remove the password and delete all private records. 2 Perform a HotSync® operation and restore your private records. 31
