Previewing in the display window Previewing Videos You can play back only discs created with the DVDirect. b Notes • You cannot play back discs created with a video device other than the DVDirect. The DVDirect does not support playback of commercial DVDs or contents on a memory card inserted to the DVDirect. • When you preview a video, there is no sound. • You cannot output videos to an external device, such as a TV. • You cannot play back HD (High Definition) disc. 1 Turn on the DVDirect and insert a disc created with the DVDirect. z Hint • If you insert a finalized disc after turning on the DVDirect, playback will start automatically (or the DVD Menu will appear). You can skip steps 2 and 3. 2 Press the RETURN button. The [Menu] display appears. 3 Press V or v to select [DVD Preview], and press the ENTER button. 4 Press V/v/B/b to select the title you want to preview, and press the ENTER button. Selected title 01/ 04 The DVDirect starts playback. Operations during playback Button B/b RETURN Operation Stop playback Display the previous or the next title Return to the DVD Menu or [Menu] display Playback starts automatically when an unfinalized disc is inserted.
