Configuration of HD (High Definition) discs • The DVD Menu cannot be created. • Chapters (breakpoints of a video on the disc) are automatically created by scene between the point where you start and stop shooting on the camera. • An HD (High Definition) video disc cannot be previewed on the DVDirect's display window. About Photo discs About created photo DVDs • Photos are copied to the disc as JPEG files. File names are assigned to photos (JPEG files) in the order they are copied to the disc. • You can select to create a slideshow when finalizing a disc (page 59, 61), you can create a slideshow in addition to storing photos. • You can view the photo disc created with the DVDirect in the display window or view it using the DVD drive of a computer. And you can also view photos using a DVD player capable of playing JPEG files. A slideshow disc can be played on commercial DVD players. z Hint • The picture quality of the photos played back in a slideshow is equivalent to that of SD (Standard Definition) video. About created photo DVDs
Photos are copied to the disc as JPEG files. File names are assigned to photos (JPEG files)
