Bluetooth® wireless technology (continued) Changing the connected device 1 Press the SOURCE knob to show DEVICE SELECT. The bottom line of the display shows the name of the last connected device. Display example MENU DEVICE SELECT Player_1 Name of last connected device 2 Turn the SOURCE knob to show already paired Bluetooth devices. oo The unit can remember a maximum of eight device pairings. oo If no paired device is available, the display will appear as follows. MENU DEVICE SELECT NO PAIRED DEVICE oo Press and hold the ENTER button to enter pairing mode (page 19). oo The first 16 characters of the device name are shown. oo If characters other than English letters and numbers are included in the device name, it will not be shown properly. 3 Press the SOURCE knob to connect. After connection, the display will show the input source. ATTENTION Regardless of the connection status of this unit and the other Bluetooth device, if the input source is not shown, restart both this unit and the other device and then connect them again. NOTE Depending on the source device, you might also need to conduct connection operations on it. If you are unable to connect it successfully, refer to the operation manual of the source device. 4 Start playback on the other Bluetooth device. oo Confirm that the volume is turned up on the other Bluetooth device. If you do not turn up the volume on the playback device, no sound might be output from this unit. NOTE Press and hold the MENU button to clear a paired device. 20

Press the SOURCE knob to show DEVICE SELECT.
The bottom line of the display shows the name of the last con-
nected device.

Press the SOURCE knob to connect.
After connection, the display will show the input source.
ATTENTION
Regardless of the connection status of this unit and the other
Bluetooth device, if the input source is not shown, restart both
this unit and the other device and then connect them again.
NOTE
Depending on the source device, you might also need to con-
duct connection operations on it.
If you are unable to connect it successfully, refer to the opera-
tion manual of the source device.

Start playback on the other Bluetooth device.
o
Confirm that the volume is turned up on the other Bluetooth
device. If you do not turn up the volume on the playback
device, no sound might be output from this unit.
