A minor adjustment on your part may eliminate the problem and restore your TV reception. Problem TV will not turn on No picture, no sound No sound, picture OK Poor sound, picture OK Poor picture, sound OK Poor reception of broadcast channels No UHF, VHF OK Black box appears on the screen Cannot select a certain channel Multiple images (ghosts) Poor color or no color No stereo or SAP sound from an MTS broadcast The Remote Control does not operate Checks and Adjustments G Make sure the power cord is plugged in, then press POWER button. G Check battery in the Remote. (Maybe batteries are "dead".) G Check antenna/cable connections. G Maybe sound is muted. Try pressing VOLUME S button. G Try another channel. (Maybe station trouble.) G Try another channel. (Maybe station trouble or local interference from appliance.) G Check antenna/cable connections. G Try another channel. (Maybe station trouble or local interference.)
