Using the TV's Features S Saving your new preferences You can save the picture qualities you adjusted (contrast, brightness, color, tint, and sharpness) in the PICTURE menu PREFERENCE mode. To save your new preferences: 1. Press MENU, and then press x or • until the PICTURE menu appears. 2. Press y or z to highlight SAVE NEW PREFERENCE. 3. Press x or •. The menu displays "DONE." Using CableClear™ DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) CableClear™ DNR reduces visible interference in your TV picture. This is useful when receiving a broadcast with a weak signal or playing back a video cassette or disc damaged by repeated use. To turn on CableClear DNR: 1. Press MENU, and then press x or • until the PICTURE menu appears. 2. Press y or z to highlight CableClear DNR. 3. Press x or • to highlight AUTO. Selecting the color temperature You can change the quality of the picture by selecting from three preset color temperatures: cool, medium, and warm. Note: The "CableClear DNR" menu listing will change to "DNR" in VIDEO mode. Mode cool medium warm Picture Quality blueish neutral reddish To select the color temperature: 1. Press MENU, and then press x or • until the PICTURE menu appears. 2. Press y or z to highlight COLOR TEMPERATURE. 3. Using CableClear™ DNR (Digital Noise Reduction)
CableClear™ DNR reduces visible interference in your TV picture.
