Your computer may have a CD-ROM drive, which can read CDROM discs and play audio CDs, or a DVD-ROM drive, which can read both DVD-ROM and CD-ROM discs. The Tecra 8200 Series computer comes with the WinDVD™ DVD Player software. For further information on using this software and playing DVDs, see your Tecra® 8200 Series User's Guide. Playing an audio CD You can use your computer to play audio CDs and to make recordings. For listening to music, you may prefer to use headphones or external speakers instead of the computer's built-in speakers. WARNING: Before using headphones to listen to audio output, turn the volume dial down. Playing the audio with the volume set too high could damage your ears. When you insert a CD in the drive, the computer automatically detects the compact disc, opens Microsoft CD Player and begins to play the disc.
