Connecting the Infrared Remote Sensor Unit Operating the Computer by the Remote Control Check that the power of the computer is turned off. Press the remote control button facing to the infrared remote sensor unit. Connect the infrared remote sensor unit. • Remove the mouse actually used and change it to the supplied cable. The pointer right-clicks. • To operate the projector and the computer by the remote control, place the infrared remote sensor unit close to the projector. • If the mouse used is PS/2 type, connect a PS/2 cable, or if the mouse is a serial mouse, directly connect an IBM/MAC cable. • The remote control operating range is about 5 meter from the front of the remote sensor. • The remote control may not operate when there is sunlight or other strong light such as a fluorescent lamp shining on the remote sensor. 22
