and Obstructions If necessary, remove any old trimming line and/or obstructions from the cutting head. 1. Firmly press in the tabs on the cutting head (Fig. 18). 2. coat the air filter with clean SAE 30 oil. 5. Squeeze the air filter to spread and remove excess oil. 6. Reinstall the air filter in the air filter housing (Fig. 23). and observe all safety instructions to prevent serious personal injury. NOTE: Careless adjustments can seriously damage the unit. An authorized service dealer should make carburetor adjustments. carburetor. 3. Allow the engine to cool. Remove the spark plug and put 5 drops of any high quality motor oil into the cylinder. Pull the starter rope slowly to distribute the oil.
