Connecting to Computer Sources NOTE: This function is only available for LS500W/LS550W. VGA Connection Connect one end of a VGA cable to the VGA port of your computer. Then connect the other end of the cable to the COMPUTER IN port of your projector. NOTE: Some notebooks do not turn on their external displays automatically when connected to a projector. You may have to adjust your notebook's projection settings. VGA Out Connection After establishing the VGA Connection, connect one end of a VGA cable to the VGA port of your monitor. Then connect the other end of the cable to the MONITOR OUT port of your projector. Connecting to Video/Computer Sources HDMI Connection Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI port of your video/computer device. Then connect the other end of the cable to the HDMI port of your projector. Connecting to Audio The projector is equipped with speakers, however, you can also connect external speakers to the AUDIO OUT port of the projector. NOTE: The audio output is controlled by the projector's Volume and Mute settings. NOTE: For a DVI to HDMI digital signal, if the DVI signal is not standard, the AUDIO IN jack may not work. The connection illustrations below are for reference only. The connecting jacks available on the projector vary with each projector model. Some cables may not be included with the projector. They are commercially available from electronics stores. 26
