COLOR TEMP Using the buttons S/T switches the mode of color temperature. HIGH MIDDLE LOW CUSTOM To adjust CUSTOM Selecting the CUSTOM and then pressing the button X or the ENTER button on the remote control displays a dialog to aid you in adjusting the OFFSET and/or GAIN of CUSTOM mode. OFFSET adjustments change the color intensity on the whole tones of the test pattern. GAIN adjustments mainly affect color intensity on the brighter tones of the test pattern Choose an item using the buttons W/X, and adjust the level using the buttons S/T. You can display a test pattern for checking the effect of your adjustment by pressing the ENTER button on the remote control. Each time you press the ENTER button, the pattern changes as below. No pattern B Gray scale of 9 steps Ramp Gray scale of 15 steps COLOR Using the buttons S/T adjusts the strength of whole color. Strong Q Weak * This item can be selected only at a video input. (except for SECAM signal.) TINT Using the buttons S/T adjusts the tint. Green Q Red * This item can be selected only at a video input. SHARPNESS Using the buttons S/T adjusts the sharpness. Strong Weak PROGRES- Using the buttons S/T switches the progressive mode. SIVE TV FILM TURN OFF * This function performs only at an interlaced signal of a VIDEO input, a S-VIDEO input or a COMPONENT VIDEO input of 525i (480i) or 625 (576i) signal. * When the TURN ON is selected, the screen image will be crisper. But it may cause a certain defect (for example, jagged line) of the picture at a quick moving object. In such a case, please select the TURN OFF, even though the screen image may lose the crisp. * This function may cause a certain degradation of the picture. In such a case, please select the TURN OFF. MY MEMORY Selecting a mode of MY MEMORY using the buttons S/T and then pressing the button X or the ENTER button on the remote control performs each function. LOAD1 LOAD2 LOAD3 LOAD4 SAVE4 SAVE3 SAVE2 SAVE1 This projector has 4 numbered memories for adjustment data. Performing the LOAD1, LOAD2, LOAD3 or LOAD4 loads the data on the memory whose number corresponds with the command's number, and adjusts the picture automatically depending on the data. Performing the SAVE1, SAVE2, SAVE3 or SAVE4 puts the current adjustment data on the memory whose number corresponds with the command's number. ViewSonic PJ502 23
