BATTERY LIFE Like with other electronic devices, the more the camera is used, the more quickly the battery will drain. Some activities are more demanding on the battery, such as capturing photos and video, in which case the battery will last approximately 2.5 hours with continuous use. With typical usage, the battery will last for approximately one day. The remaining battery capacity will display in the right top corner of the screen. When the battery level is low, recharge the battery before further use. When the battery level is too low, the camera will not turn on until it is charged. AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF To preserve battery life, the Kidizoom® Action Cam HD will automatically turn off after 2-3 minutes when no buttons are pressed. When recording videos or using the time-lapse photos function, the camera will not automatically turn off until the process completes. The preview screen can also be set to automatically turn off after 30 seconds in Settings to help save power. Please refer to the Settings section in this manual. BATTERY MAINTENANCE Charge the camera regularly to keep it operating at optimal performance, even when the camera isn't in use. Be sure to charge the camera at least every six months.
