About Your WD Drive Disk Drive Format Your My Passport Ultra for Mac drive is formatted as a single HSF+J partition for compatibility with macOS X operating systems. Physical Description As shown in figure 2, the My Passport Ultra for Mac drive has: ▪ A USB 3.1 interface port ▪ A power/activity LED indicator USB Type-C™ Interface The USB Type-C™ interface supports interface transfer rates up to 10 Gb/s. USB 3.1 is backward compatible with USB 2.0. A USB 2.0 interface supports data transfer rates up to 480 Mb/s.
