English TROUBLESHOOTING •No Power ɾMake sure power button is ON (Blue LED). ɾMake sure AC power cord is securely connected to the AC socket. ɾPlug another electrical device (such as a radio) to the power outlet to verify that the outlet is supplying the proper voltage. •Parental Control Password is "LOST" ɾIn the unlikely occurrence, select " PASSWORD EDIT" and enter "0000" to reset the password. •AUDIO Interconnection Issues ɾRemember that S-Video and Composite (VEDIO) share the same audio source. •Power is ON but No Screen Image ɾMake sure the video cable connected to the DVD combo LCD TV is tightly secured to the video output port on the back of the computer. If the other end of the video cable is not attached properly to the DVD combo LCD TV, secure it tightly. ɾAdjust brightness and contrast. ɾ If you are using a Macintosh computer older than G3, you need a Macintosh adapter. ɾCheck input source settings. •Wrong or Abnormal Colors ɾIf any colors (red, green, or blue) are missing, check the video cable to make sure it is connected securely. Loose or broken pins in the cable connector could cause an improper connection. ɾConnect the DVD combo LCD TV to another computer. •Remote Control Buttons Do Not Work ɾPress only one button at a time. ɾReplace batteries. •Snow Appears on Screen ɾCheck your antenna connection. ɾCheck the TV / CATV selection. •No Sound ɾCheck the audio connection. ɾPress MUTE on the remote control, so that MUTE disappears from the screen. ɾCheck the audio settings. The LCD TV audio may be set to SAP or minimum. ɾPress the Volume + (Up) key on the remote control. ɾMake sure that headphones are not connected to the Headphone Jack on the LCD TV. ɾMake sure the speaker setting is set to "internal". •Remote Control Does Not Work ɾMake sure batteries are inserted correctly. ɾReplace batteries with new ones if necessary. •Remote Control Code Not Found in a "Universal" Remote ɾPurchase a separate "learning" remote control. •Image Quality Issues ɾFor the best TV image quality, "Standard Definition" TV should be viewed in 4:3 format. •DVD Player Does Not Work Playback doesn't start ɾ The disc is reversed. Load the disc with the playback side facing backward. ɾ No disc is loaded. Load the playable disc. ɾThe disc may be dirty. Clean the disc. TROUBLESHOOTING
•No Power
Make sure power button is ON (Blue LED).
Make sure AC power cord is securely connected to the AC socket.
Plug another electrical device (such as a radio) to the power outlet to verify that the
outlet is supplying the proper voltage.
•Parental Control Password is “LOST”
In the unlikely occurrence, select “ PASSWORD EDIT” and enter “0000” to reset the
password.
•AUDIO Interconnection Issues
Remember that S-Video and Composite (VEDIO) share the same audio source.
•Power is ON but No Screen Image
Make sure the video cable connected to the DVD combo LCD TV is tightly secured to the video output
port on the back of the computer.
If the other end of the video cable is not attached properly to the DVD
combo
LCD TV, secure it tightly.
Adjust brightness and contrast.
If you are using a Macintosh computer older than G3, you need a Macintosh adapter.
Check input source settings.
