English IMPORTANT INFORMATION 6. DISC 6-1 On handling discs • Be sure to hold the edge of disc. Do not touch the surface of the disc. • Do not attach paper or tape to discs. If you use a non-standard disc, we cannot guarantee playback. Even if such a disc can be played back, we cannot guarantee the image or sound quality. wThis unit is designed to playback music Compact Discs (CD) that conform to the CD standard. CDs that contain (copy-restriction) signals to protect copyrights cannot be played back. wSome CD-R/RWs and DVD-R/RW cannot be played back depending on the recording conditions. wWhen you play an 8 cm disc, you need the adapter (not supplied). 7
