CLP-970A/970AM/970AC: Keyboard Stand Assembly CAUTION • Be careful not to confuse parts, and be sure to install all parts in the correct direction. Please assemble in accordance with the sequence given below. • Assembly should be carried out by at least two persons. • Be sure to use the correct screw size, as indicated below. Use of incorrect screws can cause damage. • Be sure to tighten up all screws upon completing assembly of each unit. • To disassemble, reverse the assembly sequence given below. Have a Phillips-head (+) screwdriver ready. 1. Attach the side panels to the pedal box. Place the plastic bag that contained the side panels on the floor when assembling the stand to prevent scratches to the floor or stand. The parts shown in the "Assembly Parts" illustration will be used. Follow the assembly instructions and select the parts as needed. Assembly Parts side panel (right) Make sure the indented surface on the side panel and the rear surface on the pedal box will match correctly, without creating a step. 6 x 25 mm 1 round-head screws x4 4 x 20 mm 4 tapping screws x4 6 x 16 mm 2 flat-head screws x4 Cord holders x 2 4 x 12 mm 3 round-head screws x2 main unit (2) Use the four long round-head screws 1 to attach the pedal box. First attach one side panel, then attach the other side panel. side panel (left) (1) Untie and straighten out the bundled cord attached to the bottom of the pedal box. Don't discard the vinyl tie, you'll need it later in step 6. 2. Attach the rear panel. (2) Secure the top of the rear panel to the side panel brackets using two thin round-head screws 3. CAUTION

dance with the sequence given below.

Be sure to tighten up all screws upon completing assembly of each unit.
To disassemble, reverse the assembly sequence given below.
The parts shown in the “Assembly Parts” illustra-
tion will be used. Follow the assembly instructions
and select the parts as needed.
1.
Attach the side panels to the pedal box.
Place the plastic bag that contained the side
panels on the floor when
assembling the stand
to prevent scratches to the floor or stand.
2.
Attach the rear panel.
Have a Phillips-head (+) screwdriver ready.

6 x 16 mm
flat-head screws x4
4 x 20 mm
tapping screws x4

(1) Untie and straighten out the
bundled cord attached to the
bottom of the pedal box.
Don’t discard the vinyl tie,
you’ll need it later in step 6.

Use the four long
round-head
screws

attach the pedal
box. First attach
one side panel,
then attach the
other side panel.
Make sure the
indented surface on
the side panel and the
rear surface on the
pedal box will match
correctly, without
creating a step.
