This function simulates the physical adjustment of the hi-hat opening (the space between the top and bottom cymbals). The smaller the value, the more narrow the "virtual" opening. ❏ Settings: -32~0~+32 5 FCspt Determines the length of time for a foot-splashed hi-hat sound played with the hi-hat controller (open hi-hat sound played only by the pedal). For larger values, you can play the foot-splashed sound more easily; however, slight movements of the pedal may trigger the sound inadvertently. ❏ Settings: 0~127 6 IncFunc, DecFunc A pad connected to the trigger input specified here can act as increment (IncFunc) or decrement (DecFunc) switch, regardless of its trigger function setting (page 37). You can enable its original trigger function by disabling the function here (off ). ❏ Settings: off, IN1~IN16 n If you specify the same trigger input for both IncFunc and DecFunc, the connected pad will work only as an increment switch. [UT 8] Factory Set This page allows for restoring the factory-set data into the DTXTREME IIs memory. [UT 8] SYSTEM Factory Set When you restore the factory settings, all current settings will be overwritten and lost. It is recommended that you back up important data to the memory card or other external storage media beforehand. Restoring Factory Set When the display above is shown, press the ENTER/YES button. An "Are You Sure?" confirmation message appears in the display. Press the ENTER/YES button again to actually execute the factory set operation. The DTXTREME IIs will automatically reboot and restore itself to the status it was in when you turned it on for the first time. Press the EXIT/NO button to cancel the operation. 77

FCoffset
