Chapter 8 Basic Setting The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 8 Basic Setting > System Info LABEL DESCRIPTION System Name This field displays the descriptive name of the Switch for identification purposes. ZyNOS F/W Version This field displays the version number of the Switch 's current firmware including the date created. Ethernet Address This field refers to the Ethernet MAC (Media Access Control) address of the Switch. 8.3 General Setup Use this screen to configure general settings such as the system name and time. Click Basic Setting > General Setup in the navigation panel to display the screen as shown. Figure 43 Basic Setting > General Setup The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 9 Basic Setting > General Setup LABEL DESCRIPTION System Name Choose a descriptive name for identification purposes. This name consists of up to 64 printable characters; spaces are allowed.
