Chapter 3 The RESET/ENCRYPT Button Congratulations. You now have two separate powerline networks as shown above. If the HomePlug ( ) lights on both powerline devices do not light up, the powerline devices are not connected. Repeat the connection process, making certain you press the RESET/ENCRYPT buttons for the correct time and within two minutes of each other. If that does not work see Section 6.5 on page 45 for suggestions. 3.4 RESET/ENCRYPT Button Behavior The following table summarizes the actions that occur when the RESET/ENCRYPT button is pressed for specific lengths of time.
