Engine Overheating You will find an engine coolant temperaturegage on your vehicle's instrument panel.See "Gages" in the Index. "'ON: Steam froman overheated engine can burn you hood. Stay away badly, even if you just open the from the engine you see or hear steam coming if from it. Just turn it and get everyone away off from thevehicle until itcools down. Wait until of there is no sign steam or coolant beforeyou open the hood. If you keep driving when your engine is overheated, the liquids in it can catch You or fire. Stop others could be badly burned. your engine if out it overheats, and get of the vehicle until the engine is cool. If Steam Is Coming From Your Engine NOTICE: If your engine catches fire because keep you driving with no coolant, your vehicle can be badly damaged.
