I NOTICE: Holding yourkey in START for longer than 15 seconds at a time will cause yourbattery to be drained muchsooner. And the excessive heat can damage your starter motor. NOTICE: Your engine is designed towork with the electronics in yourvehicle. Wait about seconds 15 between eacht y to help avoid draining your battery r or damaging your starter. 3. If your enginestill won't start (or starts but then stops), it could be flooded with too much gasoline. Try pushing your accelerator pedal all the way to the floor and holding there as you hold the key in it START for about three seconds. If the vehicle starts briefly but then stops again, do same thing, but the this time keep the pedal down five or six seconds. for This clearsthe extra gasolinefrom the engine.
