Place the motorcycle upright on a flat surface and make sure the engine is cold before proceeding. Checking and topping up coolant level Check coolant level in the expansion tank on the right side of the vehicle. Steer the handlebar completely to the left and check that the level is between the MIN and MAX marks on the side of the expansion reservoir. Top up if the level is below the MIN mark. Unscrew the filler plug (1) and add a mixture consisting of water and SHELL Advance Coolant or Glycoshell antifreeze (35÷40% of the volume) up to the MAX level. Change the air filter
Important
Have the air filter maintenance performed at a
Ducati Dealer or Authorized Service Center.
Checking and topping up coolant level
Check coolant level in the expansion tank on the right
side of the vehicle. Steer the handlebar completely to
the left and check that the level is between the MIN
and MAX marks on the side of the expansion
reservoir. Top up if the level is below the MIN mark.
Unscrew the filler plug (1) and add a mixture
consisting of water and SHELL Advance Coolant or
Glycoshell antifreeze (35÷40% of the volume) up to
the MAX level.
Refit the plug (1).
