Water may be forced into bearings and other components causing eventual failure from rust and corrosion. Some soaps are highly alkaline and may leave a residue or cause spotting. CAUTION

ers are not recommended.
Water may be
forced into bearings and other components
causing eventual failure from rust and cor-
rosion. Some soaps are highly alkaline and
may leave a residue or cause spotting.
NOTE

Abrasive cleaner will damage the camouflage
surface and a high pressure washer could cause
the camouflage to peel off the bodywork (for
KAF620S).
After Washing
Remove the plastic bag and tape, and open the
air cleaner intake.
Lubricate as indicated in the “General Lubrication”
section.
Test the brakes before operation.
Start the engine and run it for 5 minutes to dry it
thoroughly.
Bolt and Nut Tightening
In accordance with the Periodic Maintenance
Chart, have the tightness of the bolts, nuts, and fas-
teners checked by an authorized Kawasaki dealer.
