A. Idle Adjusting Screw
Open and close the throttle a few
times to make sure that the idle
speed does not change. Readjust if
necessary.
With the engine idling, turn the han-
dlebars to each side. If handlebars
movement changes the idle speed,
the throttle cables may be improperly
adjusted or incorrectly routed, or they
may be damaged. Be sure to correct
any of these conditions before riding.

Clutch
Clutch Operation Inspection
Check that the clutch lever operates
properly and that the inner cable
slides smoothly. If there is any irreg-
ularity, have the clutch cable checked
