While the belt retracts, guide the tongue to its original position to prevent it from striking you or the vehicle. Shoulder Belt Height Adjustment Driver and right front passenger You can adjust the shoulder belt height to one of five (5) positions. To adjust, pinch the release button (see Figures 1 and 2) and slide it up or down until the belt rests across the middle of your shoulder. Release the button and make sure the adjuster is firmly in one of the five (5) positions. Unfastening the lap/shoulder belts 128
