Use the Vehicle submenu to set the automatic central locking. Setting automatic central locking Use this function to activate or deactivate the automatic central locking. With the automatic central locking system activated, the vehicle is centrally locked at a vehicle speed of approximately 9 mph (15 km/h). X Press button V or U repeatedly until the Settings menu appears in the multifunction display. X Press button &. X Move the selection marker with button W or X to the Vehicle submenu. X Press button & or * repeatedly until the message Automatic Door Lock appears in the multifunction display. The selection marker is on the current setting. Controls in detail Before exiting the vehicle, turn the SmartKey in the starter switch to position 0. X Then turn it to position 2 and back to position 0. The headlamps delayed shut-off feature is deactivated. It will reactivate as soon as you start the engine. Setting interior lighting delayed shut-off Use this function to set whether you would like the interior lighting to remain on for 10 seconds during darkness after you have removed the SmartKey from the starter switch.
