Controls and features LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT The luggage compartment lock has one locking position. Remote luggage compartment control Push the control located under the instrument panel by the driver's door to open the luggage compartment. To open the luggage compartment at least one door must be unlocked. Closing the liftgate To avoid injury to rear seat occupants when closing the liftgate, ensure that the head of any rear seat occupant is not in the path of the closing liftgate. Request that the occupants, especially taller occupants, lean forward and under the roof structure to avoid making contact with the closing liftgate. Close the liftgate carefully. 80
