Air Bag Readiness Light There is an air bag readinesslight on the instrument AIR BAG. The system checksthe panel, which shows air bag's electrical systemfor malfunctions. The light tells you if thereis an electrical problem. system The check includesthe air bag sensors, air bag modules, the the wiring and the crash sensing and diagnostic module. VOLTS AIR BAG This light will come on when you start your engine, and it will flash for a few seconds. Then the light should go out. This means the system is ready. If it stays on,or comes on while you driving, you are may have a problem with electrical charging system. the It could indicate that you have a generator problem or another electrical system problem. Haveit checked right away. Driving while this light is on could drain your battery. If you must drive a short distance with light on, be the as certain toturn off all your accessories, such the radio and climate control system. Readiness
Light
There is

air
bag
readiness light on
the
instrument
panel,
which

The
system
checks

air
bag’s
electrical

the system is ready.
If
the
air
bag

on after
you start the
engine or comes
on

you

driving,
your
air
bag
system
may
not
work

Have
