FEATURES AND CONTROLS Switches Headlight Switch Use the headlight switch to turn the lights on and off and to change the lights from high beam HIGH to low beam. The ignition switch must be in the ON position to operate the headlights. LOW Press the top of the rocker switch toward the dash to place the headlights on high beam. Move the rocker switch to the center position to place the headlights on low beam. Press the bottom of the rocker switch to turn off the headlights. If the headlight switch is ON when the ignition switch is turned off, the lights will remain on for approximately 30 seconds. All Wheel Drive (AWD) Switch The AWD Switch has either two or three positions, depending on your model's features: • All Wheel Drive (AWD) AWD AWD • Two Wheel Drive (2WD) Differential Lock (2WD) • Turf Mode/ Differential Differential Unlocked (1WD) 2WD Unlock (1WD) See page 36 for AWD operating instructions. Electronic Power Steering (EPS) Electronic power steering (if equipped) engages when the ignition key is turned to the ON position. EPS remains engaged whether the vehicle is moving or idle. The EPS warning indicator briefly illuminates when the key is turned to the ON position. See page 39. To conserve battery power, the EPS will shut down 5 minutes after the engine is stopped if the key remains in the ON position. The EPS warning indicator will illuminate to indicate the EPS has shut down. If the light remains on after starting the engine, the EPS system is inoperative. See your authorized POLARIS dealer for service. 27

Switches
Headlight Switch
Use the headlight switch to turn the lights on
and off and to change the lights from high beam
to low beam. The ignition switch must be in the
ON position to operate the headlights.
Press the top of the rocker switch toward the
dash to place the headlights on high beam.
Move the rocker switch to the center position to
place the headlights on low beam. Press the
bottom of the rocker switch to turn off the
headlights.
If the headlight switch is ON when the ignition switch is turned off, the
lights will remain on for approximately 30 seconds.
All Wheel Drive (AWD) Switch
The AWD Switch has either two or three positions, depending on your
