Trunk Trunk Lock To unlock the trunk from the outside,insert one of the lock keys to the vehicle and turn the trunk cylinder. 4 CAUTION: . . Remote Trunk Release It can be dangerous to drive with the trunk lid open becausecarbon monoxide (CO)gas can come into yourvehicle. You can't see or smell CO. It can cause unconsciousness and even death. If you must drive with the trunklid open or if electrical wiring or other cable connections must pass through theseal between the body and the trunk'lid: Make sureall windows are shut. 0 l b r n the fan onyour h'eatingor cooling system to itshighest speed with the setting on VENT.
