Turn and Lane Change Signals The turn signalhas two upward (for right) and two downward (for left) positions. These positions allow you to signal a turn or a lane change. To signal a %urn,move the lever all the way up or down. When the turn is finished, the lever will return automatically. As you signal aturn or a lane change, the arrows flash if at twice the normal rate, a signal bulb may burned be out. If a bulb is burned,out,replace it to helpavoid an accident. If the arrows don't go on at all when you signal a turn, check for burned-out bulbs and then check the fuse (see "Fuses and Circuit Breakers" in the Index). Q 2-32 A green arrow on the instrument panelwill flash in the direction of the turn or lane change. Headlamp High/Low Beam To change the headlamps from lowbearn to high or high tolow, pull the turn the signal lever all way toward you.Then release it. When the high beams are on, this blue light on the instrument panel also will be on. To signal a lane change; raise or lower the lever just until the mow starts to flash.
