M/W~ - Rewinds/fast forwards. To stop the winding, press s \A. When the end of a tape is reached, press WA to release U,w. The OPEVBATT/DIR indicator - Indicates the playback side. U: The side facing out (front side) is played. D: The back side is played. REVERSE MODE - Selects reverse mode. ~ G (pressed): Plays both sides of the tape once, Play stops at the end of the reverse side. 1~=) (released): Plays both sides repeatedly.
