POWER(!) STANDBY/TAPE -% OPE/BATT/DIR (CSD-ED67 only) CSD-ED67 DIR STOP/EJECT PLAY SD-ED57/CSD-ED37 plays the side facing out. %ess W4 STOP/EJECT to open the cassette holder md insert a tape with the exposed side up. 'ush the cassette holder to close. Press +1® PLAY or < PLAY while the power is off. The power is turned on and play of the inserted tape begins. The volume level is displayed during tape operation. -q WA STOP/EJECT - Stops play. The power will be automatically turned off. II PAUSE - Pauses play. To resume play, press again. M/W~ - Rewinds/fast forwards. To stop the winding, press s \A. When the end of a tape is reached, press WA to release U,w. The OPEVBATT/DIR indicator - Indicates the playback side. U: The side facing out (front side) is played. D: The back side is played. REVERSE MODE - Selects reverse mode. ~ G (pressed): Plays both sides of the tape once, Play stops at the end of the reverse side. 1~=) (released): Plays both sides repeatedly.
