Adaptec CI/O Management Software User's Guide The following section explains the information that appears when you click the Component Status tab on the Enclosure Properties dialog box. Viewing Subsystem Status Details To view detailed information on temperature sensors, fans or power supplies, click the Component Status tab in the Information dialog box as shown in Figure B-2. Figure B-2. Component Status Dialog Box Temperature Sensors The status of the temperature sensors in the enclosure is displayed in the Temperature Sensors list box. Adaptec CI/O Management Software supports both threshold indicators and temperture indicators. If the enclosure contains at least one temperature indicator, the actual temperature is displayed. If the enclosure contains a threshold indicator, a reading of Within Range or Out of Range will be displayed for each present indicator. If the temperature is out of normal range, the temperature indicator icon will be displayed with a red exclamation mark next to it. B-4
