When the Adaptec SCSI RAID Family install utility appears, you have the following choices: I Create driver disks This selection will display a dialog that lists the operating systems for which disks can be created. This lets you create disks for operating system driver installation procedures that cannot read directly from the CD-ROM. I Launch RAID configuration utility This selection starts the Storage Manager application so that you can configure your RAID subsystem and build disk arrays. I View documentation This selection displays a list of the available product manuals and the read.me file with the latest release notes. Select a document name and click on OK to view the information. I Start a command shell This selection starts a Linux command shell. This lets you mount additional device or enter other system commands that might be required during the installation. 4
