If you want to use iPod with a Mac and a Windows PC If you are using iPod with a Mac and you want to use it with a Windows PC, you must restore the iPod software for use with the PC using iPod Updater (see "Updating and Restoring iPod Software" below). Restoring the iPod software erases all data from iPod, including all songs.
