5.5.4 Creating a RAID Volume To create a RAID 0 volume: 1. Select the option 1. Create RAID Volume from the Main menu, then press . The Create Array menu appears. This name is case sensitive and can not contain special characters. [ ]-Change [TAB]-Next [ESC] Previous Menu [Enter]-Select 2. Type a name for your RAID volume using 1 to 16 characters (letters and/or numbers, no special characters). Press . 3. Use the Up and Down arrow keys to select the stripe size for the RAID 0 array. Press to make the selection. The available values range from 8 KB to 128 KB. The default is 64 KB. Select a stripe value from the following suggestions depending on your planned drive usage. • 16 KB - low disk usage • 64 KB - typical disk usage • 128 KB - performance disk usage 4. Highlight Create Volume then press to create the array. Press Y when a confirmation message appears. Are you sure you want to create this volume (Y/N) 5. Scroll down to option 4. Creating a RAID Volume
To create a RAID 0 volume:
