Replace the front panel. 2.8 Installing a hard disk drive To install a Serial ATA hard disk drive: 1. Carefully place the hard disk into the the lowest 3.5-inch drive slot (without the metal plate cover). 2. Fasten the screws to secure the hard disk to the drive slot. the lowest 3.5inch drive slot without the metal plate cover If you do not need to install the optional card reader into your system, you can install the HDD in the one of the 3.5-inch external bay (with the metal plate cover). 3. Installing a hard disk drive
To install a Serial ATA hard disk drive:
1.
Carefully place the hard disk into the the lowest 3.5-inch drive slot

Fasten the screws to secure the hard disk to the drive slot.
