The buffer is created as a separate layer in your map. To continue this tutorial, go to Exercise 2: Select the parcels within the construction-zone buffer (page 222). Exercise 2: Select the parcels within the construction-zone buffer Use the buffer in a query to determine which parcels are within the construction zone represented by that buffer. Then, export those parcels to an SDF file for future use. NOTE This exercise uses the AnalyzeMap1.dwg map you created and modified in the previous exercises.
