Since it is a point-to-point IP connection, virtually any IP address may be assigned, but you must make sure that it does not interfere with the IP settings of the RIPM and your console computer. The default value will work in most cases. 6. Modem Client IP Address This IP address will be assigned to your console computer during the PPP handshake.
