Remove the needle plate. 02. Remove the feed dog. 03. Set the stitch length to either 2 (approx. 2 mm) or 3 (approx. 3 mm) on the scale, depending on the model and specifications of the machine. (Refer to the table.) 04. Turn the machine pulley to raise the needle bar !2 by H mm from its lowest position (refer to the table for the value for H). The reference line b on the needle bar !2 will be aligned with the lower edge of the needle bar supporter !3. The rotary hook tip !5 must be aligned with the center of the needle at this time. 05. Tilt back the machine head, loosen the three screws !6, and then align the rotary hook tip !5 with the center of the needle. 06. Tighten the screws !6. 07. The distance from the upper edge of the needle hole to the rotary hook tip !5 must be 1-1.5 mm when the rotary hook tip !5 is aligned with the center of the needle. 08. Loosen the set screw !7 and then pull the needle bar clamp !8 downward to remove it. 09. Turn the screw !9 to adjust so that the distance from the upper edge of the needle hole to the rotary hook tip !5 is 1-1.5 mm. 10. After adjustment is completed, insert the needle bar clamp !8 into the hole of the needle bar !2 as far as it will go, and check that the distance is 1-1.5 mm.
