I To CREATE AN ADDITIONAL COpy OF THE SAME DISC After the operation is finished, insert a brand new disc and close the disc tray. After the information screen described in step 3 is displayed, repeat step 4. o IMPORTANT • Observe the following precautions while the HOD indicator on the camcorder is on or flashing. Failing to do so may result in permanent data loss. - Do not subject the camcorder to vibrations or strong impacts. - Do not disconnect the USB cable. - Do not disconnect the power source or turn off the camcorder or the DVD Burner. - Do not change the position of the .~ /0 switch or the operating mode. • High-definition (AVGHD) discs created using the DW-100 DVD Burner can be played back only with AVGHD-compatible DVD players. Do not insert a high-definition disc into a DVD player that is not compatible with AVGHD specifications as you may not be able to eject the disc. Playing Back AVCHD Discs You can use the DVD Burner and the camcorder also to play back high-definition (AVGHD) discs on a TV. This is very convenient, for example to play back your discs even in a location where an AVGHD-compatible DVD player is not available. 1 Connect the camcorder to the TV. Refer to Connection Diagrams in the camcorder's instruction manual. Select connection 0 or fA to enjoy high-definition playback. 2 Turn on the camcorder and set it to flUY'",) mode. 3 Turn on the DVD Burner and set it to Disc Playback mode. Refer to Playing DVDs in the instruction manual of the DW-100. 4 Connect the camcorder to the DVD Burner using the USB cable. • Refer to Connections in the instruction manual of the DW-1 00. • If the device type selection screen appears, select [DVD BURNER] and press @. 5 Insert the disc you want to play back into the DVD Burner. • Use the OPEN/CLOSE button on the DVD Burner to open and close the disc tray. • After the disc is recognized, the disc's content will be displayed in an index screen. 6 Use the navigation buttons to move the selection frame to the scene you want to play back. 7 Press I~/1I1 to begin the playback. (i) NOTES • Only AVGHD discs created with the DW-100 DVD . Burner can be played back using the DVD Burner. • The FUNG. menu and setup menus cannot be accessed while the camcorder is connected to the DVD Burner. • Some of the special playback modes (slow playback, fast playback at 60x speed, etc.) cannot be used for disc playback. • 5

Playing
Back
AVCHD
Discs
You
can use the
DVD
Burner and the camcorder
also to play back high-definition

DVD
player is not available.

Connect the camcorder to the
TV.

Insert the disc you want to play back into
the DVD Burner.
Use
the
