Installing Printer Driver Windows 2000/XP Server Settings The following is the procedure to make your machine available to your network users, under Windows 2000/XP. ■ Adding Server Service (Windows 2000) 1 From the [Start] menu, select [Settings] ➞ [Network and Dial-up Connections]. The [Network and Dial-up Connections] folder appears. 2 2 Right-click the [Local Area Connection] icon ➞ select [Properties] from the pop-up menu. The following is the procedure to make your machine available to your network users, under Windows 2000/XP.

Adding Server Service (Windows 2000)

From the [Start] menu, select [Settings]
➞
[Network and Dial-up Connections].
The [Network and Dial-up Connections] folder appears.

Right-click the [Local Area Connection] icon
➞
select [Properties] from the pop-up menu.
The [Local Area Connection Properties] dialog box appears.

Click [Install].
The [Select Network Component Type] dialog box appears.
